I have always had an interest in photography.

In 2003, I turned this passion into a career. I attended the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA, majoring in Commercial Advertising and graduating in June 2006 with a BA in Professional Photography.

After graduating, I moved to Tyler, TX, to work as Department Photo Manager for Delk Photography, Inc.

During the past two years, I photographed events in Tyler, Waco, Austin, Houston, Galveston, and Corpus Cristi. While there, we also photographed weddings, schools, sporting events, and High School Seniors. My photography work has been published on billboards and a magazine cover.

In early 2008, after moving home to Utah, I opened Gordon Nielson Photography, specializing in wedding, portrait, and event photography. Clients served by Gordon Nielson Photography include Belle Femme Models (Tyler, TX) and McCarty Talent (Salt Lake City, UT).
